WAUKESHA, WI — The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office is reporting as of Friday afternoon that a missing Waukesha County man that had gone missing earlier this week, has been found safe. Authorities say 63-year-old Joseph Lunowa walked away from his home in the Town of Merton some time between 9 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 10, 2019 and 7 a.m. Friday.Sheriff's officials said that Lunowa suffers from cognitive disabilities, left home without a cell phone. Sheriff's officials Friday asked people who live in the area to check their properties and any garages or out-buildings that may provide shelter.

Authorities say Joseph Lunowa has been found safe after he went missing in the Town of Merton.
