'Shop With A Sheriff' Returns In Waukesha County
The event was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic.

WAUKESHA, WI—The annual Waukesha County's "Shop with a Sheriff" returns after it was canceled in 2020, according to a news release.
Last year's event was canceled due to ongoing concerns with the pandemic.
The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department will be celebrating the 11th annual “Shop with a Sheriff” event from 9-11 a.m. December 5 at the Super Wal-Mart located at 2000 S. West Ave, the release said.

Staff works with Waukesha County Health and Human Services to select children in need who reside in Waukesha County.
Each child will be paired up with a deputy or corrections officer and shop for holiday gifts for themselves and their family members.

"Walmart does an amazing job hosting this event and accommodating the large number of people involved," the release said.
The event will makes the holiday season brighter for all of the children and their families, as well as the deputies, corrections officers and many volunteers that assist.
