Small Park Eyed For Waukesha
The proposal suggests a park at the corner of Madison Street and Prairie Song Drive.
WAUKESHA, WI — The Waukesha Plan Commission will meet Wednesday to discuss final site plans and architectural reviews to rezone 0.58 acres into a small park at 3600 Madison St.

The Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is looking to rezone Oaks Park, which is currently zoned for single family residential. The applicant is looking to rezone it to a park district.
The playground will be approximately 4,300 square feet, with a 20-by-20-foot gazebo.

The applicant is proposing a 2-by-4-foot berm along the north side of the property line. Red cedar trees would be planted in the berm with additional trees planted along Madison Street and Prairie Song Drive.
