Social Media Account ID's Waukesha Students' Political Posts
Parents called Waukesha Police after monitoring a social media account that called out students who are Trump supporters.

WAUKESHA, WI—Parents from the Waukesha School District called police concerned after an Instagram account identified students who "supported a certain political side." Waukesha Police responded on Tuesday to the calls.
Joe Koch, Deputy Superintendent for Waukesha School District told Patch,
"The district does not condone this activity. Upon hearing of this our administration worked with our school resource officers to investigate the complaint."

There were no threats, but the social media account stated "give them the attention they deserve," and included screenshots of students' social media political posts, the police log said.
The parents who called police said they have been monitoring a social media group on Twitter that is "harassing/threatening students who are being identified by other students as Trump supporters."

A parent said her daughter received a screenshot of a post stating "this is (name redacted) who is an avid Trump supporter and against BLM." The post continues to say "if your house is on fire, best to call the fire department and not police."
Both callers said they have been in contact with Waukesha West High School about the posts. The school advised they are already working with the school resource officer to monitor the situation, the police log said.
