WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha are investigating a case of identity theft after a reported incident at the Fleetfoot Drive Kwik Trip on Monday afternoon.

According to Waukesha Police call logs, officers responded to the Kwik Trip at 924 Fleetfoot Drive at just after 4 p.m. Monday on a report of a suspicious customer.

Police spoke with Kwik Trip management, who reported that a woman completed eight separate transactions for $125 each using three cloned credit cards. Kwik Trip management told investigators that the cloned credit cards were taken from several victims, according to police.

Police said the woman who used the cloned credit cards used them to fill up a total of eight times, stealing more than $1,000 in gas.
