WAUKESHA, WIβ€” A Waukesha restaurant expects to reopen its kitchen for food beginning Aug. 11 after a hot water pipe burst in early June.

The emergency repair caused the kitchen at Tally’s Tap and Eatery to be closed for most of the summer, according to a Facebook post by Tally’s Tap and Eatery.

Patch reached out to the owner of Tally’s on Tuesday morning for comment.

The bar has remained open during the repairs and patrons have been able to order pizza.

Tally’s Tap & Eatery opened in 2013 in the building that has been in the owner’s family for three generations since the 1970s.
