Teen Approached By Suspicious Man At Waukesha Store, Police Said

A man in a blue uniform was in a white SUV with black lettering that read police without lights on top at Pick N Save, 220 E. Sunset Dr.

WAUKESHA,WI—A caller reported a suspicious person at Pick N Save, 220 E. Sunset Dr. on Wednesday. According to the Waukesha Police log, a woman reported her teenage daughter approached while in her car. A man wearing a navy blue uniform stated she fit the description of someone who was stealing from the store, the log said.

The mother called Pick N Save who stated they have not contacted the police for any reason today. The man only had a taser with no duty belt, the log said.

He did not identify himself as a police officer or security officer.
