Teen Seriously Hurt After Fall From Waukesha County Overpass
The incident happened on Wednesday in the Village of Nashotah and forced two roads to close.
WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — A teen was taken by Flight For Life with serious injuries after jumping off an overpass of a Waukesha County highway on Wednesday evening, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy saw a 17-year-old female jump off the overpass County Highway C onto Highway 16 in the Village of Nashotah. The deputy immediately rendered aid until emergency services arrived. She was taken by Flight For Life to a local hospital with serious injuries, the sheriff’s office said.
Highway 16 and County Highway C were closed for 90 minutes on Wednesday.
