Thunderstorms, Showers Possible Tuesday Night: Waukesha Weather

The National Weather Service said there is a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday night through Thursday.

WAUKESHA, WI — The National Weather Service forecast a thunderstorm to pass through southern Wisconsin Thursday evening.

The weather service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine and Kenosha counties.

There are chances for thunderstorms into Wednesday night as storms push south from northern Wisconsin. Strong wind gusts will be possible with these storms, the weather service forecast said.

The weather service also said heat indices will approach the upper 90s Wednesday, especially west of Madison.

Tuesday night has a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m., the weather service said.

On Wednesday, there is a 10 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 5 p.m. It will be mostly sunny with a high near 88 degrees.

Wednesday night there are showers and thunderstorms forecast mainly before 4 a.m. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Less than an inch of rain is possible, the forecast said.

On Thursday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy, then gradually become sunny, with a high near 82 degrees.
