Thursday at the Waukesha County Fair

The Waukesha County Fair opens at 10 a.m. and closes at midnight Thursday.

The admission special Thursday is $10 for a carload before 4 p.m. and $3 all day for seniors age 62 and older. Regular admission at the gate is $9, $3 for children between age 6 and 12 and free for children age 5 and under. Admission is free daily for active military personnel with a valid military identification. Parking is $5. Ticket and parking sales are cash-only at the gate.

The carnival ride specials are $20 for unlimited rides between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. and an additional $20 for unlimited rides between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Top events include animal judging, a cupcake eating contest and Hinder with Jared Weeks of Saving Abel on the Miller Lite Main Stage at 8 p.m.
