Tossed Chicken Leads To Fire In Waukesha: Police

WAUKESHA, WI—A fire was reported on Monday morning in the 400 block of North Grandview Blvd, according to the Waukesha Police log.

A Waukesha man was out grilling some chicken. A piece of chicken fell on the ground, and he took the tongs and threw the piece of chicken. The chicken must have hit the leaves, because it started them on fire, which in turn started the fence, recycle bin and side of house on fire.

The fire department was able to put the fire out with a garden house, according to the police log.
