Upset Bicyclist Refused To Leave Dairy Queen Drive-Thru: Police

WAUKESHA, WI — Police were called to a Waukesha Dairy Queen this week over a man who refused to leave the restaurant's drive through while he was on his bicycle, according to police logs.

According to Waukesha police call logs, an officer was sent to the Dairy Queen at 1529 E. Racine Ave. just before 8 p.m. Wednesday for the report of a man who was refusing to get out of the drive-thru.

Police said the man wanted to go through the drive-thru on his bicycle. When a restaurant employee told him they only serve people in motor vehicles from the drive through, he became upset with staff, and refused to leave, according to police.

Police said the man eventually attempted to drive his bicycle into the restaurant to file a formal complaint. Restaurant staff then called police, saying they wanted the unruly cyclist removed from the property, police call logs stated.
