Waukesha 4th Of July Fireworks Rescheduled For Saturday
The fireworks show will feature a "Waukesha Strong" segment and the event will bring food trucks and a beer garden to Lowell Park.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha's postponed 4th of July fireworks show was rescheduled for Saturday, the city announced.
The fireworks show will take place at 9:30 p.m., and will feature an all-blue Waukesha Strong segment to honor the victims of the 2021 Christmas parade tragedy. The event will also feature food trucks, a beer garden and live music at Lowell Park, 2201 Michigan Avenue, starting at 5 p.m.
The fireworks show was originally planned for Monday, but thunderstorms swept over much of southeastern Wisconsin causing postponements for shows across the region.

The show will be mostly aerial to allow for viewing from a distance. Viewing areas include Lowell Park and surrounding neighborhoods. Bleacher seating and concessions will be available at the North High School Stadium.
The city said carry-in fireworks, open flames, grills, candles, carry-in alcohol and pets are not allowed.

Parking will be available in the surrounding area and at North High School, the city said. Parking will also be available at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Waukesha campus where a First Student shuttle will transport people between Lot 6 at the university and North High School near the fireworks. The shuttle will run in a continuous loop from 7-11 p.m., the city said.
