"McCoy's Dept. Store and J.C.Penny's, also the Metropolitan 5 and 10. All those neat little dress shops and shoe store downtown . The good old days, I could go on and on." β€” Dorothy Schmitt

"I was just reminiscent about the Gasthaus tonight. Such a shame they destroyed that beautiful place." β€” Michael SchΓΌlke

"Schley's Dairy Store. They used to be at 616 E. Broadway in the Cox Plumbing Building across from Racine Avenue. Delivery guys would ride three wheeled bicycles similar to the one in this photo around town and sell ice cream. They seemed to have gone away about 1970ish from what I recall." β€” Scott Fillon
