The couple closed on their home, welcomed their first son into the world during the pandemic and are now expecting their second son.

WAUKESHA, WI—A Waukesha family were surprised on Wednesday with news that their mortgage and taxes for the month were paid, thanks to Envoy Mortgage.
The surprise was part of the company’s Gift of Home program designed to show gratitude during a financially challenging time for its customers nationwide.
The recipient of the program, Matthew Sedlmeier, served in the Navy and now is an electrician with Lemberg Electric, while his wife, Heather, is a part-time bookkeeper.

The COVID-19 pandemic impacted Sedlmeier family when Heather lost her full-time job at an accounting firm due to the financial impact of the pandemic on their clients. Uncertainty also remained for Matthew with unpredictable work.
Despite the challenges, the couple closed on their home last March, welcomed their first son into the world during the pandemic and are now expecting their second son this August.
