Waukesha Hires New Finance Director
Richard Abbott, of Menomonee Falls, begins work in Waukesha on Aug. 12.
Richard Abbott, who has been the assistant finance director for Washington County since 2008, is the new finance director for the City of Waukesha.
Abbott, a Menomonee Falls resident, will begin work at City Hall Aug. 12. His top priority is the 2014 budget, which will be passed the fall by the Waukesha Common Council.
Abbott is replacing former Finance Director Steve Neaman, who is now the finance director for Lake County Forest Preserves.
