Waukesha Man Arrested After Police Chase: Report
When the officer tried pulling the driver over, he momentarily stopped near the tracks at Grand Ave. only to speed away.

WAUKESHA, WI — A -year-old Waukesha man has been arrested and faces possible charges after a police chase on the evening of Dec. 27.
According to Waukesha police call logs, an officer on patrol at just after 2 a.m. saw a suspicious vehicle driving with its hazard lights on near the intersection of S. Grand Ave. and W. College Ave.
When the officer tried pulling the driver over, he momentarily stopped near the tracks at Grand Ave. only to speed away.

According to police call logs, police closed the road ahead of him, and deployed spike strips. Police managed to get the driver stopped, and out of the car.
Police say he was arrested for eluding police, and on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.
