Waukesha Man Found Dead With Multiple Stab Wounds

WAUKESHA, WI— Waukesha Police responded to the 400 block of Madison Street after a property manager said he hadn't seen a tenant in a few days.

Police entered and found the man dead with "multiple stab wounds," the police log said.

Police suspect it was self-inflicted but the investigation continues, Lt. Kevin Rice with the Waukesha Police Department told Patch.

Rice said an autopsy was done on Monday and the case is still under investigation.

Police have not released the man's age and name as of Tuesday morning.

The man appeared to have been there "awhile" the log said.

On Saturday night, the area along Madison Street was blocked off for several hours.

The log said police also spoke with neighbors and reviewed camera footage from a business nearby.
