Waukesha Man's Trump Sign Returned With Rainbow Painted On It
Waukesha Police responded to two incidents involving political signs being vandalized.
WAUKESHA, WI—Waukesha Police responded Monday to several reports of political signs being stolen and returned damaged.
Police responded on Monday in the 2800 block of Minot Lane for criminal damage. The called reported numerous political signs in the neighborhood being taken, damaged with spray paint and returned back to yards, according to the police log.
One resident said Trump and Back the Blue signs were taken from his yard a few days ago and returned with the gay pride rainbow painted on each sign. He said another sign, more secure to the ground, was mangled, the log said.

The man told police multiple pro Trump and Back the Blue signs in the neighborhood were stolen or damaged over the past few weeks.
Police also responded on Monday to the 1100 block of Dana Lane for a report of criminal damage to property. The caller said his Back the Badge sign was vandalized and ripped. There was permanent marker writing which said "BLM", "ACAD" and "(Expletive) Trump" on the sign. The man said one of his neighbor's signs were destroyed but didn't think the two incidents were related.
