Waukesha Owner Tried Putting Out Camper Fire: Police

When authorities arrived, they found the camper fully engulfed in flames, they said.

WAUKESHA, WI — One person suffered from smoke inhalation after he tried putting out a fire that started in his camper, police said.

According to Waukesha police call logs, officers and firefighters were sent to the 1600 block of Arcadian Ave. just after noon on April 15 on a report of a fire.

Police call logs stated when officers arrived, they found a camper fully engulfed in flames in the middle of a storage area.

Police said the camper's owner initially tried putting out the fire without success.

Authorities said fire crews put out the fire, though the camper was fully destroyed. There were no injuries related to the blaze, though one man suffered from smoke inhalation.
