Waukesha Police Investigating Citgo Burglary
Police confirmed that the suspect smashed the window in order to gain entry inside.

WAUKESHA WI — Authorities in Waukesha are investigating a gas station burglary that happened on Jan. 1 in the city.
According to Waukesha police call logs, officers responded to the Grand Petro and Food Mart at 304 N. Grand Ave. at just after 4:30 a.m. on Jan. 1 on a report of a burglary.
Police said one of the gas station's front doors had a smashed window. Police confirmed that the suspect smashed the window in order to gain entry inside.

When authorities searched the building, the suspect had already left, according to police call logs.
Police said they are continuing to investigate the burglary and are following up on leads. Police noted in their call log that the Citgo gas station located in New Berlin was also burglarized at about midnight.
