Waukesha Police Investigating Gunshots Fired In Neighborhood
According police, an officer found three spent shell casings behind an apartment building.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha are working to track down at least one suspect accused of firing several gunshots in a Waukesha neighborhood last weekend.
According to Waukesha police call logs, officers were sent to an apartment on the 200 block of Hinman Ave. just before 11 p.m. on Saturday for multiple reports of gunshots fired.
Police said witnesses called, reporting between eight and nine gunshots fired in the area.

According to police call logs, as officers gathered information, they had multiple teams search the area for suspects and evidence. According to one call entry, an officer found three spent shell casings behind an apartment building.
Waukesha police told Patch that officers are continuing to investigate the case, and know that at least two different guns were fired off near the building.

Police say there is no indication that anybody was shot as a result of the incident.
