Waukesha Public Library Addition And Renovation Begins
Demolition inside the library started at the end of May.

WAUKESHA, WI— The Waukesha Public Library, 321 Wisconsin Ave, addition and renovation has started, according to a city project update on May 28. The demo has begun inside the library and they shelves have been relocated.
Absolute Construction was awarded the project and has begun to move on site and begin lite demo to the interior.
The phasing of the project has been discussed between the city and the contractor to allow the library to remain open during the project.

The Waukesha Public Library will be undergoing a much needed renovation of its first floor to better serve the public.

- Meeting space will increase.
- A creative makerspace for the public and a demonstration kitchen will all be added to the interior renovation.
- The addition of restrooms to serve Cutler park is a much needed upgrade to the existing restrooms. The new restrooms will be open year round to accommodate park patrons.
