Waukesha Sweets And Treats Festival Sells Out In Minutes
Organizers tried selling additional tickets online on Jan. 31, but they sold out minutes after they were made available.
WAUKESHA, WI — Better luck next year.
An upcoming dessert festival that will be held later this month has sold out so quickly that organizers say they longer even have tickets available at the door during the day of the event.
According to the organizers of the Waukesha Sweets and Treats festival, "As the venue has a limit of attendees, we are at capacity with our vendors and current ticket holders. To be able to throw the best event possible we will not be able to sell tickets the day of the event for risk that line wait times will be far to long and the event itself will be overcrowded."

Organizers tried selling additional tickets online on Jan. 31, but they sold out minutes after they were made available. "The tickets at exactly 2 p.m. went available, within about 20 minutes all of the remainder tickets were gone. We are assuming at 2 p.m. everyone ordered at the exact same time and they went sold out," organizers said.
Sweets and Treats will be held at the Waukesha County Expo Center on Feb. 22, and will feature 17 dessert vendors.
