Waukesha Teens Forced To Clean Up Toilet Paper Mess: Report

WAUKESHA, WI — Authorities in Waukesha say that four teens who likely attend Waukesha South High School were busted for a traditional homecoming prank.

According to Waukesha Police call logs, an officer on patrol in the area of Harrison Ave. and S. Grand Ave. at just after 1 a.m. on Oct. 1 came across a car load of teens who were going around the neighborhood and toilet-papering houses.

Police say the teens were initially pulled over because they were driving around without their lights on at 1 a.m.

Police say the officer saw houses on N. West Ave. and Cardinal Drive that had been toilet papered. When the officer pulled the teens over and spoke with them, they admitted to hitting both properties with the aforementioned bath tissue.

When the officer spoke with the occupants of the vehicle, they reportedly told the officer inconsistent stories. The officer talked with the driver separately, who eventually admitted that he and his three travel partners were decorating houses with toilet paper due to it being homecoming week.

According to call logs, the officer made the four students go back to the homes on N. West Ave. and Cardinal Drive in order to clean up the mess.

Police said the students were strongly advised and then sent on their way.
