WAUKESHA, WI – Are you ready for some football? No, not that football — soccer! The 2022 FIFA World Cup begins Sunday in Qatar, and the U.S. men’s team is set to play Monday.
Perhaps you want to catch a game or two over a pint or a hot meal? There are plenty of places in the Waukesha area to watch. Here are some spots airing the U.S. men's team games or the whole tournament:
- House of Guinness at 354 West Main Street in Waukesha.
- The Social House at N48W18474 Lisbon Road in Menomonee Falls.
- Matty's Bar and Grille at 14460 West College Avenue in New Berlin.
The 2022 Men's World Cup is the first rendition of the tournament ever to not be held in May, June, or July. The decision to play the tournament in November and December was to avoid the intense heat that comes with summer in Qatar.

It is also the first time the World Cup has been hosted in the Middle East. A total of 32 teams are heading to Qatar to compete. All the games will take place between 5 a.m. and 2 p.m. EST.
All of the matches will be televised on either FOX or Fox Sports 1 (FS1) in English as well as in Spanish on Telemundo. You can also stream games on Peacock, Fubo, SlingTV, and Vidgo.
