Woman Berates Waukesha Restaurant Over Pandemic Policies: Police

WAUKESHA, WI—Waukesha Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Sunday at Denny's, 2801 N. Grandview Blvd. A customer ordered food and was concerned about staff wearing gloves, according to the police log. She was reassured staff including the cooks were following COVID-19 procedures.
The woman called the restaurant after she left and berated the person who answered the phone, the log said. She said her food was "[expletive] up." The log said she made several inappropriate comments and verbal threats. The staff member attempted to call back to confirm the phone number and the woman continued to berate her, the log said.
The staff member believed it is likely an isolated upset incident but was concerned, the log said.
