WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha woman says she has three broken ribs after an incident at the Waukesha Woodman's in which the driver of a motorized scooter collided with her inside the grocery store, according to police call logs.

According to Waukesha police call logs, police were called to a Waukesha resident's apartment related to a Monday incident at the Woodman's.

When police investigated, they learned that a person on a motorized scooter appeared to be confused by the restricted one-way lanes and the store. According to police call logs, as the scooter was going around a register, its driver failed to negotiate the turn past the woman and struck the front right corner of her shopping cart, pushing her backward and causing her to fall into another cart and shopper.
