WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — A 34-year-old woman died on Monday after her car crossed a center line road and was then struck by a dump truck, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.

The sheriff's office said the crash happened at 12:30 p.m. on Summit Avenue in the Town of Delafield.

It appeared the driver of a sedan, the 34-year-old victim, crossed the center line and was hit by a dump truck. She died at the scene, the sheriff's office said.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured in the accident.

This crash remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.
