• Wisconsin Democrats renew call for paid medical and family leave (wortfm.org) — A Waunakee-based state representative is helping lead a renewed Democratic push for statewide paid family and medical leave, which could give eligible workers up to 12–14 weeks of paid time off. The proposal would create a state-run insurance fund, require employer contributions on a sliding scale, and could eventually let local governments set their own paid leave rules.
