A Pedestrian Was Killed As A Police Chase Ended In A Hit-And-Run In Milwaukee
A tan Nissan Altima struck and killed a pedestrian during a police chase through a West Allis neighborhood.
WEST ALLIS, WI — One person was killed after a police chase that began in West Allis ended in a hit-and-run in Milwaukee.
Police are looking for a tan, four door 2000s Nissan Altima with unknown plates and tinted windows, the Milwaukee Police Department said. The car should have damage to the front end, its right inner fender and a missing right mirror.
The car fled from a traffic stop near S. 76th Street and W. National Avenue in West Allis around 1:15 a.m. It later struck and killed a pedestrian at S. 21st Street and W. National Avenue in Milwaukee. The driver then sped away heading east.

Officers from the West Allis Police Department canceled their chase and stopped to help the struck man until medical personnel arrived. The 34-year-old Milwaukee man was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating the hit and run and no arrests have been made. Milwaukee police are asking anyone with information to call them at 414-935-7360.
