3 Arrested After Carjacking In Wauwatosa Driveway: Police
A woman had to take her child out of her vehicle before carjackers took it from her driveway in Wauwatosa on Monday evening, police said.

WAUWATOSA, WI — Three people were taken into custody after a carjacking was reported near 85th Street and Stickney Avenue Monday evening, according to the Wauwatosa Police Department.
A woman was in her driveway with her child in the backseat of her car nearby when somebody approached and demanded the car just before 6 p.m., according to a Facebook post from Wauwatosa police. The woman told police the carjacker appeared to have a handgun.
The woman took her child from her car and the person stole the car then drove off, police said. After the encounter, Milwaukee police found the car and arrested the driver after a short pursuit, police said.

Police also pursued a stolen gray Hummer that was possibly involved in the carjacking, police said. The Hummer crashed and officers arrested two people, according to Wauwatosa police.
Police said charges are being referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for all three suspects involved.
