6 Juveniles Arrested After Shoplifting And Chase In Wauwatosa: Police
After a shoplifting incident, an attempt to steal a car and a high-speed chase in Tosa, six juveniles were arrested Friday, police said.

WAUWATOSA, WI — Six juveniles were arrested in a stolen vehicle on Friday after they shoplifted from a hardware store on 124th Street and led police on a chase, according to a news release from Wauwatosa police.
The juveniles were driving a vehicle that was wanted in connection with an armed carjacking, police said. After the high-speed chase, the stolen car crashed and the six passengers tried to run away but they were all arrested, according to the news release.
Police said the juveniles stole screwdrivers and gloves from the Home Depot on 124th Street before they tried to steal another vehicle and then led officers on the chase.

Police used a tire deflation device on the vehicle leading to a minor crash, though nobody was injured, police said. Police are referring charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office after the incident.
Police thanked Home Depot loss prevention and citizen witnesses for their help in the case.
