Best of Patch: Vote for Your Favorite Fish Fry in Our Poll

We love our fish fry, no question about that. If we didn't, there wouldn't be so many to choose from.

Everyone has their favorites and most of us have a reason for considering one the best, whether focused solely on the fish or on the whole presentation.

Wauwatosa Patch is looking for the "most favorite" fish fry in our neck of the woods, and 14 other Patch communities are doing the same. We've already cast a net for advance submissions and gotten a nice catch so far – with still more time to take suggestions.

• And finally, took us juuuuust outside Tosa to on State, where he likes the "great traditional fish fry that has potato pancakes with apple sauce, a Miller Beer battered haddock, rye bread and the Chive Fries... mmmm."

Our search for the Best Fish Fry kicks off 12 weeks of local business competitions, trying to narrow down the top spots in town for everything from pizza to mechanics to salons. Next up, next week, is the "Best of: Day Care Centers."

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, comments and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.
