Burglaries And Car Thefts Reported In Wauwatosa

A house was burglarized in 100 block of West Grantosa Drive. Stolen items were valued at over $5,000, police said.

WAUWATOSA, WI—Several burglaries and car thefts were reported in Wauwatosa, according to the police log.

On Nov. 16, someone tried to attempted to force entry into Hair Deliverance, 10111 W. Capitol Dr. Suite #5. The log said the estimated damage was $200.

On Wednesday, the science building at Wisconsin Lutheran College, 612 Maywood Ave, was burglarized. Three people reportedly took a 75" Visio flat screen TV, and a 50" Visio flat screen TV was damaged, the log said.

A home was reported burglarized on Thursday in the 100 block of West Grantosa Drive. Sometime between Nov. 13 and Nov. 19 someone broke into victim's home and took the victim's car, miscellaneous jewelry, and a digital camera. The police log said the items stolen were valued at $5,090.

A car was reported stolen on Wednesday on North 62nd Street. A person stole a car from the parking lot of an apartment complex. That car is a gray 2019 Kia Sportage SUV.

On Thursday, a black BMW X3 was reported stolen from a garage in the 100 block of Woodward Ave. The Milwaukee Police Department recovered the car on North 46th Street. There are no suspects at this time, the log said.
