Donations Needed After Large-Scale Animal Rescue, WHS Says

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI— The Wisconsin Humane Society is asking for donations after taking in over 160 animals from Brown County.

According to the society's Facebook post, the organization took in 52 ball python snakes, and 108 rats and mice from a large-scale law enforcement seizure.

"As you can imagine, this sudden influx of species with such unique needs does put a strain on our resources," the organization wrote. "We are currently asking for the public’s help."

There are two ways the public can help including:

None of the 160 animals are available for adoption at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
