Drive Thru Beer Delivery Opens At Mayfair Mall

WAUWATOSA, WI — A former bank drive thru at Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa has reopened as a beer delivery outlet.

Good City Brewing, which suffered a setback earlier last month when they closed their taproom near the Fiserv Forum in Downtown Milwaukee, has found new life at Mayfair Mall.

On Monday, they opened the drive thru at the old Bank Mutual at the corner of Mayfair Rd and Center Street. They're selling growlers of beer among other items.

Good City Brewing's drive thru is part of the mall's ongoing effort to keep business operating during the coronavirus pandemic. Mayfair Mall closed at 5 p.m. on March 17. Mall officials said select stores are offering curbside pickup between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon through 6 p.m. on Sunday.

“We want to serve our community and customers by providing creative shopping solutions during this uncertain time as we all work to responsibly turn the dial,” said general manager Chris Jaeger in a Milwaukee Biz Times report. “We’re excited to partner with a prominent local brewery to provide our customers with a unique curbside experience.”

Customers can place orders on the Good City Brewing website and then pick up their order via drive thru. They're open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Mayfair Mall announced that a number of stores and restaurants are now offering curbside pickup.
