Fireworks And TosaFest Permit: Wauwatosa City Meeting Agendas

WAUWATOSA, WI — The Wauwatosa Common Council will meet Tuesday to decide on a fireworks permit for a golf course, a permit for TosaFest 2021 and an ordinance restricting pedestrians from occupying medians.

Tuesday

The Common Council will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. It will review proposals from other committees, including ordinance creations and amendments.

The council will consider a resolution from the Government Affairs Committee for a fireworks permit for the Blue Mound Golf and Country Club, 10122 W. North Ave., according to the agenda.

The council will also review a special permit request for the Wauwatosa Village Task Force to hold TosaFest 2021 at Hart Park, 7300 W. Chestnut St., it added.

The council will review a proposal for an ordinance to penalize people for occupying street medians for reasons other than crossing, as well as for approaching occupied cars in busy intersections such as North Mayfair Road, according to the Community Affairs Committee's July 27 agenda.

Wednesday

The Community Development Authority will meet at 12 p.m. and go into a closed meeting to discuss a property on 7746 Menomonee River Parkway, according to the agenda.
