Man Used Instagram To Lure Teen Boys: Report
Authorities say a Wauwatosa man used Instagram to lure teen boys to send nude photos of themselves in the Waukesha and Wauwatosa areas.
WAUKESHA, WI — Authorities in Waukesha are asking the public to call them if they have any information related to a sexual assault case involving a Wauwatosa man.
According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's office, Ryan Soderberg, 33, of Wauwatosa has been charged in the Waukesha County Circuit Court with one count of sexual exploitation of a child and one count of soliciting an intimate representation from a minor.
He is being held in the Waukesha County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond. He is due in court on Dec. 6 for his preliminary hearing.

Authorities say Soderberg used the Instagram name “sammyisabaddy” to assume the identity of a female, targeting early-teen boys and requesting they send nude images to him.
Sheriff's investigators say Soderberg is believed to have victimized additional children, primarily in the Waukesha County and Wauwatosa area that have not reported the incidents to law
enforcement.

Other account names may have been used, investigators say, but it is not known at this time.
