Mayfair Collection's Osgood's Closes Its Doors
Osgood's was one of four restaurants that opened in the Mayfair Collection in 2015.

WAUWATOSA, WI — Osgood's, a retro fast food diner that specialized in hamburgers, hot dogs and frozen custard has closed in the Mayfair Collection. It's space will be re-purposed, property managers say.
According to HSA Commercial Real Estate, which owns the Mayfair Collection properties, they are planning to recapture and redevelop the parcel currently occupied by Osgood’s restaurant, which closed on Feb. 18.
Officials say the 6,500-square-foot Osgood’s building is situated on a prominent, highway-visible lot that can accommodate up to 13,000 square feet of retail or restaurant space. Ownership says they are currently exploring whether to expand and re-tenant the existing building or rebuild on the parcel.

“Since the current drive-thru building only utilizes about half of the build-able area for the site, we are excited to explore how best to maximize the development potential of this prime outlot at The Mayfair Collection,” said Tim Blum, executive vice president of HSA Commercial Real Estate in a statement. “With over 140,000 vehicles traveling by each day, it’s essentially a billboard location best suited for a retail flagship.”
Phoenix Hospitality built and opened four restaurants at The Mayfair Collection starting in late 2015: ABV Social, Taqueria El Jefe, Café Grace and Osgood’s.

With the closure of Osgood’s and launch of Truli, officials at Phoenix Hospitality say they're now able to consolidate operations and refocus its efforts on the company’s three restaurants at The Mayfair Collection.
Additional apartments, senior housing units and corporate office buildings are planned for future phases of the high-density, walkable development.
