WAUWATOSA, WI — The City of Wauwatosa will hold four city meetings Tuesday. Here's a preview of what they will talk about.

Tuesday

The Government Affairs Committee will meet at 6 p.m. The committee will review a fireworks permit for a golf course on North Avenue, a liquor license for a convenience store and a special events permit for TosaFest 2021 in September, according to the agenda.

The Transportation Affairs Committee will meet at 7 p.m. The committee will consider modifying parking spaces outside of Christ King Catholic Parish School, amending an ordinance to create parking zones by Wauwatosa East High School and amending an ordinance to create parking zones on the south side of Lincoln Place, according to the agenda.

The Financial Affairs Committee will meet at 7:30 p.m. The committee will review a request to use American Rescue Plan Act funds for a Wauwatosa tourism marketing stimulus package, a recommendation to provide a health insurance dividend to employees on the city health insurance plan and a request to approve a design services contract to analyze space needs for the Civic Center, according to the agenda.

The Community Affairs Committee will meet after the Financial Affairs Committee adjourns. The committee will consider an ordinance to use artist work or sales space in the office zoning district and review a memo on approving a license agreement with AT&T, according to the agenda.

The committee will also consider an ordinance to penalize people for standing on medians and approaching occupied cars in busy intersections such as those along North Mayfair Road, West Blue Mound Road and West North Avenue, according to the agenda. The ordinance is meant to restrict pedestrians from staying on medians for reasons other than crossing the street and from approaching cars except to enter in a legal parking space, it added.
