Read This Week's Wauwatosa City Meeting Agendas
The Wauwatosa Common Council will discuss a zoning amendment, permits for a Restore and an encroachment for a new coffee bar.

WAUWATOSA, WI — The City of Wauwatosa will hold its Common Council meeting Tuesday and several various committee meetings until Friday. Here are the agendas posted for this week.
Tuesday: The Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. They will first hold a public hearing about a proposed amendment to add artist work or sales space to office zoning districts.
Second, the council will review ordinance amendments and creations, including to create parking zones by Wauwatosa East High School and the south side of Lincoln Place.

Then the council will review permit applications from the Plan Commission, including plans for a Habitat ReStore and a childcare establishment.
Then the council will resolve to a referendum to reduce the size of the Common Council from 16 to 12 members, providing per one alderperson per district. If resolved, the referendum will be held on April 5, 2022 as part of the general election ballot.

Finally the council will hold a resolution to grant an encroachment into City right-of-way for Bill Haley, owner of Vendetta Coffee Bar located at 7613 W. State St. Haley applied to place an awning from the front of his coffee shop over the sidewalk.

This is a hybrid meeting, which means the public meeting section will be held virtually while council members meets in the chambers.
Thursday: The Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 6 p.m. They will address a resident's request to change the height of a privacy fence abutting a street on the 3100 block of N. Menomonee River Parkway.

The Civic Celebration Board will meet at 7 p.m. They will discuss fireworks, concerts and parades for 2021 and review assignments for 2022.
The board will meet in Committee Room #2, according to the city agenda.
Friday: The Board of Building and Fire Code Appeals will meet at 9 a.m. They do not have an agenda posted yet. Smaller boards must post their agendas within 24 hours of meeting, a city official told Patch.
