WAUWATOSA, WI — Getting a little extra cash at the grocery store will cost you extra, after a major supermarket chain announced they're collecting fees every time a shopper requests cash back at the checkout register.

According to a Milwaukee Business Journal report, on Oct. 28, all Wisconsin-area Roundy's grocery stores, including Pick 'n Save, Kroger, Metro Market and Copps stores will have to pay $0.50 every time a shopper requests up to $100 in cash back. If a customer asks for greater than $100, that fee increases to $3.50.
