Several Cars Stolen From Wauwatosa Car Dealership
The thefts were reported from Russ Darrow Kia of Wauwatosa, 1901 N. Mayfair Rd. on Feb. 24.
WAUWATOSA, WI—Several cars were stolen or attempted to be stolen from Russ Darrow Kia of Wauwatosa, 1901 N. Mayfair Rd. on Feb. 24, according to the police log.
Patch reached out to Wauwatosa Police but haven't heard back as of Wednesday morning. According to the police log the following was reported:
- A sangria colored 2018 Kia Sorento was stolen from Russ Darrow Kia, 1901 N. Mayfair Rd. The car was later recovered, unoccupied, in front of a residence in the 2000 block of West Auer Ave.
- 2019 blue Kia Sportage was stolen from the Russ Darrow Kia.
- A R R s 2020 Kia Sportage was stolen from the Russ Darrow Kia.
- A 2020 black Kia Forte (No plates) was stolen from the Russ Darrow Kia.
- A black 2021 Kia K5 LX was stolen from the parking lot of Russ Darrow Kia. The car was entered through the rear passenger window and the steering column was stripped. Milwaukee Police Department recovered this vehicle prior to it being reported stolen.
- A white 2021 Kia Sportage from the parking lot of Russ Darrow Kia.
A person attempted to steal the following cars:

- A 2021 Kia K5 from the parking lot of Russ Darrow Kia.
- A black 2019 Kia Optima 4-door from the parking lot of Russ Darrow Kia. The vehicle was entered by removing the passenger rear window and the vehicle sustained column damage.
- A black 2018 Kia Optima 4DR from the parking lot of Russ Darrow Kia. The car was entered by removing the passenger rear window and the vehicle sustained column damage.
- A black 2019 Kia Optima 4DR from the parking lot of Russ Darrow Kia. The car was entered by removing the passenger rear window but had prior steering column damage.
- A white 2021 Kia K5 that was parked in the overflow lot.
- A 2021 Kia K5, from the East parking lot Russ Darrow Kia. The car was forcibly entered.
- A red 2021 Kia K5 LXS that was parked in the overflow lot.
- A red 2021 Kia K5 LX that was parked in the overflow lot.
On Thursday, on West North Avenue, a juvenile was arrested following a police pursuit of a stolen white 2021 Kia K5 4-door, according to the police log. The original incident occurred at the
overflow parking lot for Russ Darrow Kia, the log said.
