WAUWATOSA, WI — Tosa Bowl and Bun, a venue known for its dinners, sandwiches, entertainment and more, announced plans to close its doors for good in the coming weeks.

The Venturis, who own Tosa Bowl and Bun, decided it's time to close, a statement posted to the business' website said. The final day of operation will be July 22 and a celebration is scheduled for July 23.

The business is located at 7212 W North Avenue in Wauwatosa. Recent years have presented myriad challenges, such as when the business lost power for several days.

"We feel extremely privileged to have opened Venturi’s Market in 1997 and after a short break, TB&B in 2015," reads the statement posted on the business website.

"To say we are proud to have been able to be part of the Wauwatosa community for 25 years is an understatement," the business said.

While it was difficult to come to the decision, owners say they believe it is time. The statement posted to the business' website thanked patrons for their support over the years.
