WAUWATOSA, WI — The City of Wauwatosa announced on Wednesday the first day of Tosa Restaurant Week.

The 10-day event will feature 12 restaurants, starting Wednesday and ending March 13, the city said in a statement.

Participating eateries, cafes and breweries will offer four different menu types: $10 breakfast, $15 three-course lunch, three course dinners for $25 and $35 and $8 tidbits, the city added. The tidbit is the most varied and includes bites from bakeries and specialty shops.

"Tosa has so many cuisine options, we wanted an opportunity to showcase that," city spokesperson Eva Ennamorato told Patch. Exposure for local restaurants will support the dining scene after it took hits from the pandemic.

This is the first Tosa Restaurant Week in the city. The city hopes to make it an annual event, Ennamorato added.
