Watch As Gas Station Robbery Suspect Is Run Down, Beaten Up

When a man tried robbing a local gas station, the clerk's older brother got involved and things did not go well for the suspect.

WAUWATOSA, WI — A Wauwatosa man was filling up his gas tank at the local Speedway gas station when he learned that a potentially armed suspect went inside and held up his younger sister, who was working as a clerk behind the counter.

"The suspect demanded cash and cigarettes from the clerk, and when he obtained that, that's when he fled from the gas station," Wauwatosa Police Captain Brian Zalewski said in a FOX 6 report.

As video footage showed, the suspect's holdup did not bode well for him when the clerk's older brother got involved.

According to a WISN 12 report, the sibling to the gas station clerk was filling up his car when the robbery happened. That sibling, Calmonta Harris, learned what happened and proceeded to chase down the robbery suspect.

When you view video surveillance footage, the footage shows Harris' vehicle run down the suspect. Harris gets out of his car and is shown striking the suspect until he falls to the ground.

Wauwatosa police say they arrested both the robbery suspect and Harris.

According to a WAOW 9 report, Harris wouldn't hesitate to do it again. "I wasn't trying to intentionally beat the man up, but if he came out, he robbed the gas station with my little sister, so I don't know what else I can, it's all about my little sister," Harris said in the news report.
