Wauwatosa Blotter: Brick Thrown At Car, Drug Paraphernalia Found

Also, a gold ring was stolen, Harmonee Bridge was graffitied and several people were arrested.

WAUWATOSA, WI — Police in Wauwatosa this week responded to a number of calls, including reports of stolen vehicles, vandalism, theft and shoplifting. Here's a look at what went down from Sept. 18 to 24.

Sept. 18

At 5:23 a.m., a person reported his vehicle had been stolen with keys from the Crowne Plaza Hotel parking lot on Innovation Drive.

At 9:26 a.m., a person reported that a vehicle parked in the garage at 95 W. Capitol Drive had been vandalized overnight. An unknown person scratched the car's paint and threw a brick at the car's windshield.

At 10:02 a.m., a man reported he was bit by a dog at the Lowe's store on W. Burleigh Street.

At 11:53 a.m., a 2016 Nissan Rogue registered in Illinois was stolen from the Speedway store on W. North Avenue. Police estimate the value of the stolen car is $24,000.

At 1:44 p.m., 21 packs of Tide laundry pods were stolen from a Walgreens store on W. Capitol Drive. Police said the thief was an unknown man.

At 9:54 p.m., a man was arrested on a City of Greenfield warrant for theft.

Between 10 p.m. and 11:54 p.m., an unknown man broke the windshields and rear windows of two vehicles on N. 110 Street.

Sept. 19

At 2 p.m., a woman stole some $126 worth of items from the Meijer store on W. Burleigh Street.

Around 2:575 p.m., a person was arrested on suspicion of stealing $285 worth of merchandise from the Macy's store on N Mayfair Road.

At 4:45 p.m., $435.37 worth of merchandise was stolen from the Meijer Foods on W. Burleigh Street.

Sept. 20

At 12:34 a.m., a driver was arrested on two outstanding warrants after a traffic stop. The warrants were from the Village of Butler Police Department. The suspect posted bail to Butler Police and was released.

At 2:27 a.m., a driver was arrested for driving under the influence after getting pulled over in the 4200 block of N. 92nd Street.

A man reported to police that he had lost his wallet around 3 p.m. the day prior near Martha Washington Drive and Washington Circle.

Around 6:33 p.m., a person reported her sister had gone missing from a location on Dewey Avenue.

Between 5 and 7 p.m. an unknown person broke into a car in the 2600 block of N. 75th Street and stole an iPhone 11 and home and car keys.

Sept. 21

Around 8:30 a.m., a used syringe, a lighter and a small tin containing a small brown or yellow rock substance was found in a woman's bathroom in the 8200 block of Harwood Avenue.

Sept. 22

Around 11:53 a.m., a resident of Luther Manor in the 4500 block of N 92nd Street reported a gold ring with three stones had been stolen. The ring is valued around $500.

Around 5:10 p.m., a person was arrested for retail theft and parole violation after $699 worth of merchandise was stolen from the Home Depot store in the 4100 block of N. 124th Street.

Around 9 p.m., an unknown driver in a Chevrolet Tahoe fled from police during a traffic stop in the 6500 block of W. State Street. Police say the vehicle could be wanted in connection to retail thefts.

Sept. 23

At 5:13 a.m., a person was arrested on suspicion of stealing $80 worth of cash from a Walgreens cash register in the 2200 block of N. Mayfair Road.

Around noon, a person was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 3900 block of N Mayfair Road.

Around 12:32 p.m., a person reported new graffiti was seen on the underside of the Harmonee Bridge.

At 12:41 p.m., a person reported two Bublr bikes he or she was renting had been stolen from Metcalfe's in the 6700 block of W. State Street.

At 3:51 p.m., an unknown person stole $80 from the cash register of a Walgreens store in the 2600 block of Wauwatosa Avenue.

A person was arrested around 11:3o p.m. for carrying a concealed weapon in the 2600 block of N. 66th Street.

Sept. 24

Around 6:42 a.m., a woman reported her white Trek Hybrid bike had been stolen from her garage on N. 65th Street.
