The Wauwatosa Community Affairs Committee will discuss a proposed apartment building on the the former Milwaukee County Food Services site.

WAUWATOSA, WI—The Wauwatosa Community Affairs Committee will discuss a proposed apartment building on the the former Milwaukee County Food Services site, 9150 Watertown Plank Rd.
Patrick Shanahan, the developer for Watertown Apartments, submitted final plans at 9150 Watertown Plank Road for a multi-unit building.
The Watertown is a proposed apartment building with 5 stories and 147 units.

The proposed building structure that will be the home of Medical Residents pursuing medical field of expertise at Milwaukee Regional Medical Complex.
The housing facility will be dedicated to creating affordable housing near the medical campus. The location would allow for medical residents to walk to school or work without having to use cars, according to documents.

"The building is being designed with sensitivities to its location by incorporating native landscaping, dark sky lighting strategies, and bird friendly details," the documents said.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 23.
