Wauwatosa Drop Off Center Will Take Storm Debris: See Hours Here
Wauwatosa residents can drop off debris at the Drop Off Center for free until Aug. 28.
WAUWATOSA, WI — The City of Wauwatosa is letting residents drop off debris from storm damage for free at the Drop Off Center.
The city made the announcement Thursday. The free service will be open until Aug. 28, the city said.
The Drop Off Center at 11100 W Walnut Road will open Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays at 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The city will take branches, brush and other debris from the storm, the city said. Residents can drop off their food for free on Saturday, it added.
Residents can place their tree storm damage at the curb so it can be collected until Aug. 22. Collection is free, the city said.

Branches must be cut down to four feet and bundled with twine if possible, but bundles shouldn't weigh more than 50 pounds, the city said.
Residents should call 911 if there are downed wires, fallen trees on houses or trees completely blocking the road, the city said.
